The wine industry has been using the same image, attitude and strategy to sell wines for the last 40 years. It worked then – it even worked 20 years ago – but it’s NOT WORKING NOW. Millennial wine drinkers are not responding to the same old tactics that have been working for the last almost-half-century. It’s up to companies in the wine industry to step up and change tactics, or risk losing this powerful consumer group to foreign markets.
